Summer charm

I spent a week at the beach, chaperoning my daughter’s Girl Scout troop (they are all 16 and total boy-magnets, what a pain).  One of the things I like to do is make a piece of jewelry that represents the things we did while on vacation.  One of the other moms found a genuine piece of sea glass, which she kindly donated to my project.  It was quite a challenge to find appropriate charms, but  I managed to find a crab to represent the all-you-can-eat seafood buffet we enjoyed; a seagull to remind me of the birds which swooped quite low at the beach, and a flip-flop, which is what I ran around in the entire week.  When not barefoot.

Now all I have to do is find some co-ordinating beads.
